About the game:

Sight Shifting is a platformer that makes the player shift between two "layers of reality" per say, allowing them to find different elements that are equally usefull to reach the next level. The game tries to adapt to the theme in the sense that depending on your perspective and the way you change it, according to a certain situation, you can move foward to the next level. It is also a project from Phyrie, who did the programming and level design, as well as Rice Grain, responsible for the artwork, including character design and almost all set pieces, and sound (but with no expirience whatsoever so any sound was found on a royalty free website, sowy :3) Also, the game works with the basic wasd controls and mouse clicks that are shown, as well as the ability to move boxes by pushing them with your character.

To check out more of the creators personal work, their instagrams are @arts_by_willow (for Rice Grain) and @pixelphyrie, it's our first official project and game jam, so we hope yall enjoy and please give us feedback on what can be improved.

Character movement needs to be improved, but other then that, this is a solid fun game. Keep it up!

I like it, but the movement of the character is a little heavy, making many jumps hard with no reason. The idea of the light switch and colors was genial.

Thank you for the appreciation, we have similar thoughts in regards to the jump situation and we are taking that into consideration to expand the project in the future.

Really fun and I like the choice of colors to contrast. Looks really good. Difficulty progression was on point as well. Only downside is no audio. Some really satisfying click sounds for the switches would be awesome. All in all loved it though.

Thanks a lot for the comment, we really have zero expirience with sound design so the criticism is really appreciated since now we have more of an idea on how to improve this aspect of the project. Again, thanks a lot for your time and comment.
